Fareedah’s first published article was a class assignment in high school. Since then, her articles have been published in newspapers and online platforms. She also indulges in teaching, photography, painting, poetry and activism.
Fareedah was born in Iraq and has lived in Nigeria, Libya, Venezuela, Burkina Faso and Turkey, where her interest in different cultures flourished. She has three children: Muhammad, Omar and Nafisah.
